The USI Equal Opportunities Service, in collaboration with eLab and the Student Administration Service, is pleased to invite you to an information session dedicated to teaching staff to present the new guidelines to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The meeting is an opportunity to learn more about the new tools and procedures in place to support students, with the aim of promoting greater awareness and more effective management of situations that require specific measures during the course of study and/or for examinations.

To facilitate participation, the meeting will be held online on two different dates, from which you can choose:

  • 21 January, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • 29 January, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Both meetings will be held in Italian and English. Prof. Angela Pasqualotto, Associate Professor of Cognitive Psychology and Inclusive Education at SUPSI and Co-Head of the Centre of Expertise for Educational Needs, School and Society, will be present at both sessions to answer questions about the application of Universal Design for Learning, an innovative and inclusive teaching method whose application is recommended.

The theoretical meetings will be followed by two practical workshops to explore the topic in greater depth:

  • Wednesday 22 April, 9am-12pm, in person, Room 253
  • Tuesday 19 May, 9am-12pm, in person, Room 253
