In order to ensure an inclusive learning environment and the correct application of the new Directive on inclusive teaching and the management of training courses and examinations for students with recognised special educational needs, two practical training workshops are planned for teaching staff, dedicated to the application of the principles of Universal Design for Instruction (UDI) in university teaching.
The meetings will offer concrete tools and practical suggestions for designing more inclusive and accessible teaching activities and assessment methods.
The workshops will be held on the following (alternative) dates:
- 22 April, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in person – Room 253
- 19 May, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in person – Room 253
To participate, please register using the following form: REGISTER
To provide concrete support to teaching staff in adopting compensatory measures and integrating UDI principles into teaching, the document “Advice and best practices for inclusive and accessible university teaching” is also available for consultation and download via the link.
As further support, the eLab team is available for individual consultations, which can be booked via the Ticketing 4me platform (eLab Service → teaching consultancy → teaching design → request for consultancy on accessibility and inclusion in teaching).
