I’m Ilaria, a Master’s student in Communication at USI. Graduated in Economics & Management at Bocconi University and exchange student at Monash University in Melbourne. Along the way, I realized I was just as curious about how people communicate, tell stories, and build meaning online as I was about where those stories could take you. I’d say I’m random, curious, and slightly crazy, I love collecting moments that one day I’ll tell my kids as “that time when I was in my 20s…”.
Over the past few years, I’ve been moving between Europe, Australia, and Asia, asking myself a simple question: what if work didn’t have to be tied to one place or one traditional path? That question has shaped both my academic journey and the way I approach communication today.
Alongside my studies, I work as a UGC (User-Generated Content) travel creator. I’ve collaborated with more than 400 brands worldwide, from hotels and travel platforms to international companies such as Revolut, Insta360, and FlixBus. Most of these collaborations didn’t come from being "an influencer", because I wasn't. They came from being "the girl next door" that an audience would trust. UGC allows you to work with the multinationals you've always dreamt of because they need real videos and experiences, and no, you ain't be a videomaker: I started with my Iphone 11 at 19. This is the future of marketing and in Italy the market is still unsaturated so there’s no better moment than now to start!
