Sexual Harassment Awareness Day
Swiss universities, including USI, are taking part in Sexual Harassment Awareness Day, a national initiative promoted by swissuniversities to raise awareness of sexual harassment in academia. This participation forms part of a shared commitment to fostering study, research and working environments based on respect, safety and inclusion.
The initiative represents an important opportunity to reaffirm our collective responsibility in preventing and combating inappropriate behaviour, as well as to strengthen an institutional culture capable of ensuring that the entire university community is listened to, supported and provided with practical tools.
Further reading, guidelines and useful resources are available on the official website of the campaign and can be shared within the academic community to encourage wider dissemination of the content and key messages.
The initiatives organised for Sexual Harassment Awareness Day complement the activities promoted by USI to safeguard personal integrity. On the IntegriSafe page, you can find information materials and training courses dedicated to safeguarding personal integrity, aimed at both staff and students, which are offered throughout the academic year.
