Eurostars Projects

Objective
Eurostars is a joint program by EUREKA and the European Commission that supports innovative SMEs and their project partners in conducting international, market-oriented R&D projects. Innosuisse funds Swiss participants in Eurostars projects, enabling them to collaborate with global partners and develop cutting-edge solutions for international markets.

Funding and Duration
Swiss participants, including SMEs, research organizations, and large companies, can receive funding for their part of the project. Eurostars projects typically last 1 to 3 years and are aimed at delivering a marketable product, service, or process within two years of project completion.

Project Criteria

• The project must involve at least two partners from different Eurostars countries.
• The project leader must be an innovative SME.
• All project partners must have a well-defined role and actively contribute to achieving the objectives.
• The proposal must demonstrate scientific and technical excellence, innovation, and market potential.
• The Swiss partner must comply with Innosuisse’s funding guidelines, ensuring alignment with national goals.
