ERC Synergy Grant 2026 Swiss National Information Event

Are you a researcher that wants to address a problem so ambitious that it requires a team of researchers? The Synergy Grants could be for you!

Teams composed of two to four PIs  may apply to work together, by bringing different skills and resources to tackle ambitious research problems. No specific eligibility criteria regarding the academic training are foreseen for ERC Synergy Grants. PIs must present a competitive track record as appropriate to their career stage.

If you are planning to submit a proposal to the ERC-SyG-2026 call with a host institution based in Switzerland, we invite you to join the National Information Event on 19 August (11:30-13:00). The event will provide tips and advice from a previous ERC-SyG Grantee and Panel Member, as well as essential information on the principles and conditions of the 2026 call from the ERC Executive Agency.
