Swiss-New Zealand Science Collaboration Opportunities

Researchers are invited to attend a joint webinar organised by Universities New Zealand, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), MBIE, and the Leading House Asia-Pacific (University of Zurich), dedicated to research funding opportunities and collaboration pathways between Switzerland and New Zealand.

The session will provide an overview of Swiss research funding instruments and highlight opportunities for building and strengthening bilateral research collaborations. With Switzerland’s re-association to Horizon Europe, new and expanded possibilities are now available for New Zealand researchers to collaborate with Swiss partners within European research programmes.

The webinar will cover:

• An introduction to SNSF funding schemes and forthcoming calls

• Insights into the Leading House Asia-Pacific funding instruments supporting collaboration between Switzerland and the Asia-Pacific region, including New Zealand

• Practical guidance on how Swiss and New Zealand researchers can leverage Horizon Europe to deepen research collaboration

The event will conclude with a live Q&A session.
