Dealing with the media follow certain rules and conventions. If you are aware of them, you can deal more effectively with the media and make your voice heard in the public arena. For this reason, the SNSF and the Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI), in partnership with the Gebert Rüf Stiftung (GRS) and the Mercator foundation Switzerland, offer special courses in media training for researchers every year.
Courses offered in 2015 are the following:
- writing workshop in French, on 5 May and 30 June 2015 at the Maison de la Communication in Lausanne
- writing workshop in German (four half-days each), on 12 January, 10 February, 17 March, 15 April and 8 September, 14 October, 12 November, 4 December 2015 at the MAZ in Lucerne
- one-day media training course in English organized at MAZ in Lucerne on the following dates: 17th of March, 2015 and 21st of October 2015.
