Media training courses are aimed at interested researchers in Switzerland who would like to improve their skills in dealing with the media.
These courses are mainly aimed at researchers funded by the SNSF (fellowships and research funding), the Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI), the Gebert Rüf Stiftung or the Mercator foundation Switzerland. They must have gained some experience at postdoc level. Other advanced scientists can also attend.
Courses will take place on following days in Lausanne (in French):
- 16th and 17th May 2014
- 12th and 13th September 2014
and on following days in Lucerne (in German):
- 27th and 28th June 2014
- 26th and 27th September 2014
- 14th and 15th November 2014
Courses in English are organized for those researchers who are already experienced in handling relations with Swiss media. During the one-day seminar they will be introduced to British media and their way of working. They will take place on the 10th March and on the 24th October 2014 in Lucerne.
