Swissuniversities has launched a new call for projects in the Swiss Open Research Data Grants programme, a series of Calls for Projects within the framework of the application of the Action Plan for the Swiss National Open Research Data strategy.
Track A: Explore projects encompasses early-phase exploration as well as the testing and prototyping of a potential Open Research Data practice. It allows for engagement with a community without necessarily creating a final product. The objective is to help researchers explore if and how ORD practices can be developed.
In the past calls for projects for Track A, USI projects were selected for financing. You may find the list here.
Funding and Duration
The total cost of the project (including matching funds) must not exceed CHF 150,000. This scheme finances projects up to 18 months, max. until the end of 2024.
