Come hai iniziato la tua carriera?

My career starts in Bally back in 2012: I was attending the last year of master at USI when I applied for an internship offer posted on USI career service website. I was hired in the production planning department where, thanks to my mentors, I had the possibility to grow and develop several competences in supply chain division.

Perché hai scelto di lavorare presso Bally?

For me, Bally has always been a reference in fashion industry so it was an easy choice: founded in 1851, it is the oldest luxury brand after Hermes.

In cosa consiste il tuo ruolo?

I am responsible for the internal shoe factory. This includes mainly three areas: guarantee the daily factory output according to the master plan defined, schedule the production orders to meet customers’ requests and supervise the raw material warehouse activities in order to fulfill production needs.

Quali sono, a tuo parere, le qualità necessarie per fare carriera in Bally?

Passion, humility and hard work. I would say that these are the most important qualities for a successful career. Besides these qualities, it is always important to work as a team. Teamwork is one of the most important key for success: different points of view give added value and help to find better solutions.

Quali sono secondo te le caratteristiche/gli aspetti positivi dell'USI?

Time spent at USI was the best in my life and I loved everything of the campus. I received a great support from all the professors and staff that hardly work to put all the students in the best conditions to learn. USI can be considered a reference thanks to the innovative way of teaching that makes things easy to learn.

Quali competenze e/o capacità acquisite durante il tuo percorso di studi all’USI sono risultate utili nella tua carriera professionale?

Without any doubt, the most important skill acquired during my time at USI is the ability to challenge myself continuously. Moreover, I learned to approach a task with different points of view: this helps to understand the whole picture and not only a single frame of it.

Cosa potresti suggerire ad un neolaureato USI che deve entrare nel mondo del lavoro?

Be always open to other colleagues’ advices and suggestions. We never stop learning.
