How did you start your career?
I attended the Bsc in Business Administration in Pavia (IT). After that I applied for the MSc in Management in Lugano I applied for and Internship in the Brand & Merchandising Management team S&LA.
Why did you choose a career at Hugo Boss?
I'm really passionate in shoes and sneakers so there was a big match in terms of demand and request. HUGO BOSS is a global brand with huge opportunities.
What is your current role/duties?
- Product Collection framework development;
- Product development;
- Sales support;
- Retail merchandising;
- Collection performance analysis.
In your opinion, what are the qualities necessary for a successful career in Hugo Boss?
- Product knowledge;
- Customer knowledge;
- People Management skills;
- Negotiation skills;
- Public speaking;

What positive aspects and qualities meant most to you during the study programme you attended?
International environment, Professional teachers and Connection with companies in Lugano.
What competences and/or skills acquired in your USI Study Program have been useful/are useful to your professional career?
Business administration, Negotiation and Marketing.
What is your advice to USI students entering the job market?
Deepen the role that he/she is going to have in order to better understand the needs of his/her potential Boss to impress him but also to understand if the role really fits with your personal skills and wishes. Second, don't be afraid to make mistakes, everybody does mistakes but the most important thing is to immediately react.
