MAP: Be a Student for One Day

The Master of Arts in Philosophy (MAP) is happy to announce that you can be a MAP student on Wednesday 5th April!

The MAP is a research-oriented master in which you will have the opportunity to develop your philosophical interests in metaphysics, philosophy of mind, logic, and philosophy of science and receive lectures from leading scholars such as K. Fine, K. Koslicki, A. Marmodoro, T. Maudlin, B. Nanay, T. Sattig, A. Varzi, T. Williamson, and many others.

During this day, prospective students will have the opportunity to experience a day as a student of our programme. They will attend lectures, speak with current students, and take an informal (free) lunch with the staff of the MAP.

The program is the following one:

09:30 - 12:00        Philosophy of Mathematics with Prof. Øystein Linnebo

12:00 - 13:00        Free Lunch break (offered by the MAP)

13:00 - 13:30        Presentation of the MAP with the director Damiano Costa

13:30 - 16:00        Mind and Metaphysics with Prof. Thomas Sattig
