SNSF - Call for proposals THCS: Personalised Prevention in Health and Care Services

The Swiss National Science Foundation is taking part in the THCS European Partnership call, inviting Swiss-based researchers to apply.
The call's objective is to foster innovative, person-centered health and care models that focus on prevention strategies, utilizing current IT and digital technologies and services.
The aim is to enhance aspects of the health and care system, including quality, efficiency, equity, and sustainability.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants for the joint transnational research and innovation call include:

• Teams from different entities such as universities or other higher education institutions.
• Research and knowledge dissemination organisations.
• Non-university public or private research and/or innovation organisations.
• Hospitals, foundations, or any healthcare providers.
• Commercial companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Funding and duration
The minimum project duration is 12 months and projects must be designed to be achievable during a maximum funding period of 36 months.
SNF budget: 900.000 CHF
Innosuisse budget: 1.800.000 CHF

Deadline for Intent to Apply letter submission: May 23, 2023
Deadline for proposal submission: June 13, 2023
Communication of the funding decisions to the applicants: 29 August – 6 September, 2023
Expected project to start (subject to national procedures): December 2023 – May 2024
