M-ERA.NET CALL 2024

M-ERA.NET is a European network aiming to support the green transition by coordinating national and regional funding programmes in materials and battery technologies.

Topic 1: Sustainable advanced materials for energy
Topic 2: Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces
Topic 3: High performance composites 
Topic 4: Functional materials
Topic 5: Materials addressing environmental challenges
Topic 6: Next generation materials for advanced electronics 

Eligibility
Project consortia must include at least 3 partners from at least 3 different countries, with at least 2 being EU member states or associated countries. Proposers must be eligible for funding according to their national/regional regulations and must be involved in activities within the eligible TRL range for the call's topics. Proposals must be written in English and involve partners who add value to the project objectives.

Funding and Duration
Maximum project duration is 36 months. Specific funding rules and programme priorities vary by national/regional funding organisations. SFOE is contributing with 1 EUR milion:
Topic 1: EUR 650’000  
Topic 6: EUR 350’000 

Timeline of the Call:
5 March 2024: Launch of the call
14 May 2024, 12:00 noon, Brussels time: Pre-Proposal Deadline
20 November 2024, 12:00 noon, Brussels time: Full-Proposal Deadline 
Early October 2024: feedback to applicants 
February 2025: Contract negotiations for selected proposals
February - May 2025: the start of funded projects
