Swiss Network for International Studies
SNIS funds pluri-disciplinary collaborative projects on issues that can only be solved through international cooperation. Projects must involve or study NGOs, international organizations (IOs) and/or private sector actors. Social sciences with or without natural sciences are accepted.
Investigated issues may combine political, economic, social, environmental, historical, legal, health, scientific, and development dimensions of complex societal questions.
The project coordinator and co-coordinator must have a doctorate and be employed at least at 40% at a Swiss Higher Education Institutions for the duration of the project. The funding can range from CHF 100.000 to CHF 300.000 for 2 years.
