Do you want to welcome into your research group excellent post-doc researchers? MSCA Individual Fellowships and SNSF Ambizione grants fund young promising post-doc researchers, of any nationality and from any research field, who wish to conduct an independent project at a Swiss university. These fellowships represent an excellent opportunity to attract talented post-docs in your team.

MSCA Individual fellowships

MSCA Individual Fellowships support experienced researchers undertaking mobility between countries. Individual fellowships are either European Fellowships (EF) or Global Fellowships (GF).

The incoming fellow is recruited for a period of 12 to 24/36 months and works on an individual research project jointly prepared with the new Host Institution. The grant covers the salary of the visiting researcher and other training and networking activities.

For further information, please contact Ms. Martina Pestoni.

SNSF Ambizione

Ambizione grants are aimed at young researchers who wish to conduct, manage and lead an independent project at a Swiss higher education institution. They are awarded to excellent researchers with at least 12 months of postdoctoral research activity at a different institution from that of the doctoral thesis. Applications may be submitted no later than four years after completing the doctorate.

Ambizione projects last from 2 to 4 years. The funding includes the grantees’ own salary and project funds not exceeding CHF 400’000 for four-year grants.
