  • Summer School

    If you are interested in attending a Summer School, please bear in mind that only a maximum of ECTS points can be transferred. In particular, according to the ad hoc regulation for student mobility, students enrolled at the Faculty of Economics (both levels) can earn up to 6 ECTS points, whereas students enrolled at the Faculty of Communication sciences can earn up to 9 ECTS points, with a maximum of 30 ECTS points obtainable through mobility programmes.

    International Winter School 2019 - Higher School of Economics, Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, Moscow - January 21-31, 2019

    The International Winter School program is conducted entirely in English. Hosted by the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, the International Winter School 2019 will focus on contemporary world politics, Russian language and culture. The students can earn 3 ECTS credits resting on their School performance results. The deadline for applications and payment is December 15, 2018

    International Summer School in Human Sciences, University of Jyväskylä, 20 May-14 June, 2019

    Lucerne Summer University: Ethics in a Global Context, University of Lucerne, 3-8 June, 2019

    PhD/Doctoral and MA students from around the world and from different disciplines can apply to take part in building a global network for sustainable responsibility by participating in the Summer School.

    International Summer University Programme - Copenhagen Business School - 25 June-25 July 2019

    The International Summer University Programme (ISUP) offers over 50 courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, both classic business courses as well as more diverse courses that draw on other academic disciplines. Courses run over a six-week period, where students can take up to two courses equalling 7.5 ECTS credits per course.

    KLU Summer School in Digitalization - Kühne Logistics University, Hamburg, 8-19 July 2019

    The Summer School in Digitalization is targeted at Bachelor students pursuing a degree in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or Business Engineering.

    Method: Interactive lectures, case studies, group work, and excursions

    International Summer School - University of Southampton - 15 July-9 August 2019

    Students will study up to six topics across the four weeks. Each topic is delivered by an internationally-recognised member of academic staff at the University of Southampton working in partnership with one postgraduate research students. Across three engaging and interactive classroom sessions, they will introduce students to their topic of choice, explaining why it is important to them and offering an insight into the world-class research environment they work in.

    WFI International Summer School „Firms in Society“ - Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt - 29 July-9 August 2019

    Students attend high-class courses on the role of firms in society, experience real world business insights with entrepreneurial champions, gain a deeper insight into German and especially Bavarian culture and visit famous Neuschwanstein Castle. Part of the program are several firm visits (AUDI, LEDvance, Bauer Group, brigk).

    The WFI Summer School focuses on Master students but each time we have accepted a few very good advanced Bachelor students. The required language level in English is B2. Students can obtain up to 10 ECTS points (4 modules at 2,5 ECTS points each).

    Prague Summer School of Journalism 2019 - Charles University - 31 August - 14 September 2019

    This program is intended mainly for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students.     Barcelona International Summer School 2019, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona - July 2019

    The Universitat Pompeu Fabra offers the Barcelona International Summer School (BISS) as a flagship programme to advance the curriculum of both domestic and international undergraduate students during the summer term in Barcelona. Courses are credit-bearing (ECTS) and can be taken in English, Spanish or Catalan in an international classroom environment. They are structured in modules of different duration and intensity, which can be flexibly combined in periods ranging from one to four weeks.

    International Staff Week, KU Leuven, 13-17 May 2019
    A 5-day programme on the theme of "Community Feeling" organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of the KU Leuven to strengthen the cooperation between FEB KU Leuven and its partner institutions.     International Staff Training Week, Navigating the Challenges of Modern Universities, TU Dresden, 3-7 June 2019
    Today’s universities are active far beyond studies, teaching and research. A wide variety of stakeholders are involved in navigating the resulting challenges and working on interdisciplinary issues such as internationalisation, diversity management and networks, without losing sight of the overall objectives of the institution.     International Staff Training Week 2019, Freie Universität Berlin, 17-21 June 2019
    The Staff Training Week is composed of four different programs full of variety - there will be workshops, group events, tours, presentations, sportive activities, and, of course, time to connect and network.

    The four programs are as follows:

    Library: Libraries on the move: innovating services for research, learning and publishing
    Personnel Development and Continuing Education: Universities and Leadership from the HR perspective
    Spotlights of Internationalization: New Networks - New Responsibilities

    Participation in the International Staff Training Week is possible for administrative staff working in the fields of career services, libraries, continuing education and HR and colleagues working in international offices.
